After being closed for seven years, Hialeah’s Bucky Dent Water Park is finally back. Even better, admission is free until Miami-Dade schools return August 13. The park opens again tomorrow and Thursday, then weekends going forward. Seven years to reopen a water park -- somehwere, one extremely patient kid is still standing there in swim trunks.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day had the second-biggest opening weekend in domestic box office history with $355 million. Add in the take from The Odyssey, Tom Holland and Zendaya (who star in both) are pretty much Hollywood royalty.
The Marlins finished their weekend in New York with a beauty: a 2-0 shutout of the Mets Sunday at Citi Field. The Fish have a nice little run, taking 3 of 4 from New York and 6 of the last 7! Dolphins fans finally got their first public look at training camp yesterday in Miami Gardens. It was the team’s fourth practice, but the first with fans in the stands! Football is officially back.
