The Cold Moon Is The Last Supermoon Of The Year: The last supermoon of 2025 will rise tonight. The December full moon is called the Cold Moon and may look larger than usual as the lunar orbit swings relatively closer to Earth. NASA says the moon will be just a mere 221-thousand miles from Earth on Thursday night. The Geminid Meteor Shower is also due to start this week, but is not expected to peak until December 13 and 14. That’s when NASA says up to 120 meteors will be visible per hour on a clear night sky.

YouTube Debuts End Of Year Recap Feature: YouTube is offering a year-end wrap up of the videos you’ve watched in 2025. Users can select between 12 different themes. The Recap feature is a spin on Spotify’s Wrap. YouTube’s Recap will even assign users a “personality type” based on viewing habits, such as Adventurer, Skill Builder, and Creative Spirit. Recap rolled out in the U.S. yesterday.
