A Miami fitness coach has a Guinness World Record - and my workout suddenly feels very inadequate. Lilian Zamora Alonso lifted 639 pounds in a weighted hip thrust at Miami Iron Gym. That’s roughly the weight of a piano. Meanwhile, I’m making sound effects getting out of a beach chair.
The Miami Heat are still looking for their first win of the season. They lost at home to the Dallas Mavericks last night, 113-109, dropping Miami to 0-and-4. Giannis had 29 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists - but even a triple-double couldn’t get the Heat over the hump.
You don’t have to go to Paris - or even Miami Beach - to see Picasso. The Coral Springs Museum of Art has opened its new downtown gallery with 57 original Picasso prints. The exhibit runs through December 5th, and the admission is free!
