The cutest thing in Miami has a pouch! ZooMiami has its first-ever successful southern hairy-nosed wombat birth. The joey was actually born back in January but has only recently started sticking its head out of mom’s pouch, so visitors can finally see it. Six months living rent-free in Mom’s pouch. Honestly, in Miami’s housing market, this wombat has figured it out! (Ron Magill shares this wombat fun fact: wombats are the only animals in the world that produce square poop...yep, like a cube.)
The Miami Marlins got hosed last night! A bases-loaded hit was wrongly called foul, replay showed it was fair, but because the ump had already killed the play, Miami only got two runs instead of what likely would’ve been three -- and they lost by one! Just a brutal way to lose a game.
