Pitbull Is Paying Over $5 Million to Name Florida International’s Football Stadium After Himself.

The Panthers, the official team of Florida International University, will play their next five years of games at Pitbull Stadium.

Pitbull, born Armando Pérez, said his goal with what FIU described as a 10-year deal was to give back to students and provide them with a place to learn and succeed.

“We don’t do this for propaganda. We do it from the heart,” he said.
