HISTORY BEING MADE: Hockey meets South Florida tonight as the NHL Winter Classic takes over LoanDepot Park (yes, an ice rink at the ballpark!) - with the Florida Panthers hosting the New York Rangers. It’s the first outdoor NHL game ever played in Florida. Ice hockey, palm trees and fans in jerseys and shorts (although temp should be 60 degrees when the puck drops at 8 tonight haha, which is winter to us!)

UPSET ALERT: University of Miami upset No. 2 (and defending national champions) Ohio State at the Cotton Bowl on New Years Eve 24-14. Canes now head to the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona next Thursday to take on the Ole Miss Rebels (who shocked Georgia last night). The winner will face either Indiana or Oregon in the National Champiionship Game here at Hard Rock Stadium January 19th.
