Paris. Venice. New York. And, naturally… Jacksonville!

A new report ranked the most romantic cities in America based on Google searches for things like date-night ideas, romantic restaurants and proposal spots. New York took #1, followed by Nashville, Austin and Chicago. But coming in at #5 is Jacksonville, where apparently romance is alive, well and searching Google for “somewhere nice to take her after the Jags game.”

To be fair, Jacksonville does have beautiful beaches, waterfront restaurants, sunset cruises and plenty of outdoor spots for couples. But... I love that the ranking is based on searches for romance.

Maybe Jacksonville isn’t necessarily America’s fifth-most romantic city… but that its residents are just the fifth-most likely to desperately Google “ROMANTIC THINGS TO DO NEAR ME — QUICK.”

Either way, Duuuuuvaaaaal is for lovers. Who knew?
