The small plane crash happened this morning after taking off from Boca Raton Airport.
The plane, a Cessna 310 was enroute to Tallahassee when it crashed near I-95 and North Military Trail, hitting a vehicle and catching fire.
Three people were on board, all of which perished in the crash. A person in a nearby vehicle was also injured from a fireball emitted from the plane.
Major traffic delays should be in play this afternoon—with parts of Military Trail, Glades Road and the I-95 overpass shut down.
Tri-Rail is also paused between Boca and Deerfield, with buses still in service.
