Viva Raw Dog And Cat Food Is Recalled Due To Possible Salmonella And Listeria Contamination: Viva Raw is issuinga voluntary recall of multiple varieties of its raw dog and cat food productsdue to possible salmonella and listeria contamination. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says the recall for two lots of products that were sold by a small number of retailers across multiple states between July 2, 2025 and Aug. 21, 2025. Salmonella and listeria can affect both the animals eating the products and the humans who handle the contaminated food. Infected pets who are otherwise healthy can be carriers and infect other animals or humans, the FDA warns. Customers should dispose of the food and contact Viva Raw for a refund.
