- Truly AIP Bread Mix (14 oz): Lot No. 260417 (Best-by April 17, 2028) and Lot No. 260617 (Best-by Dec. 17, 2027)
- EAT G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R. Flat Bread Pizza Mix (163 g and 3.98 lb): Lot No. 260327 (Best-by July 27, 2027 and Sept. 27, 2027)
- EAT G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R. Flat Bread Pizza Mix (163 g): Lot No. 260803 (Best-by Feb. 3, 2028)
What Caused the Recall
- Contaminated Ingredient: The products were manufactured using plantain flour supplied by PMF Global that was labeled as certified gluten-free.
- Test Results: Independent third-party testing confirmed that the plantain flour contained gluten levels significantly exceeding the FDA’s standard of 20 parts per million (ppm).
- Health Risk: Consumers with celiac disease or severe wheat/gluten intolerances risk adverse health reactions. No illnesses or adverse health effects have been reported
