Four Hyundai models are being recalled for seat belt detatchment concers. The Ioniq 6, the Genesis G-90, the Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Hybrid are affected between model years 2023 and 2026.

Hyundai dealers will inspect the seatbelt anchors free of charge and replace them if necessary. Owners should receive letters in the mail about this in June.

Last month, Hyundai said it would stop selling 2026 Hyundai Palisade Limited and Calligraphy trims after a child’s death. According to Hyundai, the second- and third-row power seats may not detect people or objects.
