In South Florida wetlands near the Broward/Palm Beach line, python hunters say they witnessed something unusual -- multiple Burmese pythons gathering and swimming together in what looks like a “breeding swim party,” behavior not commonly documented, like it’s some kind of Evergladees pool party! If it’s a breeding thing, well, then they have a more active social life than me! Or is it a synchronized swim meet for snakes? Somebody cue the music. Oh, and don’t get in the water!

Big shoutout to Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines -- packing up the flags, the rifles, and probably half of Broward County’s hairspray...and heading to Ohio for the Color Guard World Championships! Cooper City High School, West Broward High School, Somerset Academy, FIU Pegasus World and Doral Academy Prepatory School will also compete - so South Florida is officially exporting a lot of talent! These kids can toss a flag 20 feet in the air and catch it perfectly -- meanwhile I can’t even catch my phone without cracking the screen. Good luck to all our kids!
