Every March 5th, Miami celebrates 305 Day, named after the city’s iconic area code, and for me, it’s more than just a date on the calendar.

It’s a reminder of everything that makes South Florida special. The energy. The culture. The music. The food. The sunshine. And the way people here live life with a little extra flavor!

Miami is one of those places where the whole world seems to come together. On any given day you can hear three languages before lunch, grab the best cafecito of your life at a ventanita and somehow end up watching a sunset over the water thinking, yeah… this place is pretty incredible. It’s a city that moves fast, dreams big and always finds a reason to celebrate.

For me personally, 305 Day is also about the people. The listeners, the neighborhoods, the small businesses, the families and everyone who gives Miami its heartbeat. Being on the radio here means I get to share stories, music, laughs and moments with a community that’s proud of where it lives.

So today, crank up some Miami music, grab a cafecito, maybe hit the beach or your favorite Cuban spot and celebrate the magic of the 305.

Because there’s only one Miami… and there’s nothing quite like it!
